ABOUT US:
After years of bootlegging rare band t-shirts for friends and designing prints for local bands Dougie Kennedy finally decided to become legit and started Electra French Limited in 2005.  Influenced by Japanese brands such as Hysteric Glamour and Superlovers, He began by making limited edition t-shirt designs inspired by all aspects of Japanese and American culture such as music, comics, pornography, computer games, anime, etc.


After selling out these original designs Dougie Kennedy began making more t-shirts and jewellery with the wholesale market in mind.  Electra French's unique hand made jewellery and hand screen printed t-shirts are now stocked in over 20 independent retailers and boutiques nationwide.

While building Electra French as a brand Dougie Kennedy has continued to work with bands to create unique limited edition t-shirts, posters, and pants! 
This resulted in their first musical endeavour and the birth of Electra French Records with a limited run of coloured cassette tapes for Glasgow pop-antifolk-banging-mentalists Mitchell Museum.
Electra French Records now is preparing to release Mitchell Museums first full length album “The Peters Port Memorial Service” in early 2010.  With the future release of albums by The Old Bear and Liquid Crosby planned for spring of 2010.
